China’s mobile phone manufacturer Facebook built station

China’s Mobile Phone Market Monitoring Report in July 2014 newly released by Advisory body Sadie showed that by sales volume, top ten mobile phone brands in the Chinese market that month followed by Samsung, Coolpad, Lenovo, Huawei, Apple, Xiaomi, BBK, OPPO, ZTE and Gionee. Samsung and Apple submerged in a lot of Chinese brands. Among them, Chinese mobile phone manufacturers building station on Facebook take six places, total sales accounted for almost half of the Chinese market.

At first sight, Facebook’s major station designs of mobile phone manufacturers at home and abroad are much the same: the company name and logo are on the upper left corner, the cover photos are recent new products, and there are the company profile, video, application and other columns, and the news are released at intervals based on the time line. A little ingenious Huawei and Meizu have set up the “visitors’ post”, to display the users’ latest comments.

Behind similar page designs, the growing popularity of mobile phone manufacturers on Facebook are very different. The most popular Lenovo and Huawei have 2.937 million and 1.226 million fans respectively after more than ten years of accumulation; OPPO which has started for two or three years, and Gionee have 1.031 million, 843000 fans respectively; Xiaomi, Meizu, ZTE and other mobile phone manufacturers just started on Facebook, their fans are between tens of thousands and two thousands.

Sending a post, Lenovo, Huawei can get the praise from thousands of fans, which can be rushed to one ten or twenty thousand sometimes; OPPO and Gionee, often also can get one or two thousands of praise; Xiaomi maintained active sentiment with more than 200,000 fans, one post can usually get hundreds of praise; As for Meizu, ZTE, Hisense normally only get dozens of praise, which occasionally break through 100, the operational team can be happy for a long time.

It can’t be compared with the foreign famous mobile phone brands. in all Facebook master stations of mobile phone manufacturer, Samsung held the king of popularity, having 40.317 million fans, praise for one post is over ten thousands easily; Blackberry which is looking for buyer and veteran manufacturer Nokia which was acquired by Microsoft also have 30.419 million, 13.776 million fans respectively; HTC, and LG hold 4.911 million, 2.575 million fans respectively.

Samsung’s Facebook major station usually posts a message every day roughly through the functions of all sorts of scenarios or creatively displaying mobile phones, for example, Samsung answers a question and answer by itself on Facebook: “what is the similarity between you and your mobile phone?” “Oh, both of you want to attend the banquet, Note4 have the function of quick charging.” And matching a photo on which a man preparing to attend the banquet in business suit is waiting charging anxiously, it can win over more than 12,000 praises.
